HONOR KILLING- Dark side of modern India..!

INDIA- Having the largest democracy, one of the fastest growing economy. And we are about to update our status from developing to a developed nation. India is on the fast track of becoming a super power.

This is a new India where everything is modern..

- Night outs for girls is no more taboo.

- Live-in n homosexual relationship are legalized.

- And children's are quite open to discuss about their gal friend n boy friend with their parents.

But at the same time there is another India. The India that has not progressed along or as its alleged messiahs put it "protected itself from the bad influenced of change". It has been left somewhere in between in the darkness of orthodoxy.

And the perfect E.G of this conservative attitude is the "DELHI HONOR KILLING" case. Where a family allegedly murdered its own daughter & her boyfriend in the name of " HONOR KILLING".

The so called " Honor killing" are murders by families on family members who are believed to have brought "shame" on the family name. It is a blot that is not that easy to hide or erase.

Although love marriage and live-in relationship are acceptable in metros but the situation is not same in other parts of the country. The reason is clash of thinking, young educate

d people have changed their outlook with time & start coming out of traditional beliefs system. But their families are still carrying that orthodox attitude. Here comes the clash of ideas & beliefs. Honor killing is the culmination of this clash. But,i think this clash of ideas can be solved with a human approach.

So,lets come & join hands against this barbaric practice which is becoming shame to our country.

And at the end i just wanna say- Its the almighty who decides the end of a persons life and if you are trying to do so then for me you are a MURDERER..!

CWG - A sorry mess in the making..!!

Corruption and politics are quite synonymous to each other. And for Indian politics,it is one of the important feature. Corruption in India is a consequence of the nexus between the bureaucracy,politics and criminals. Today the number of politicians with clean image can be counted on fingers. At one time bribe was paid for getting wrong things done but now bribe is paid for getting right things done at right time.

The much-awaited and prestigious Delhi common wealth games slips on corruption scandals. just 70 days away from the inauguration ceremony of CWG and piles of works are pending and budget keeps on expanding. unless a miracle happens,the infrastructure planned for the CWG will not be completed on schedule. And the reason behind this crippled arrangeme

nt is corruption. The newspapers found that treadmills which have been rented at Rs. 9.75 lakh per piece for 45 days,could be purchased for less than half price. It's been reported that liquid soap have been procured at Rs 3397 per unit when they cost just Rs 460 in the market.

The government has diverted funds meant for SC/ST to CWG- related projects. This corruption,if unchecked,will lead to loss of public trust in state institutions and officials.

Still,just like a typical Indian I am enough optimist to believe that in true Indian fashion we will manage to ride over all obstacles at the last minute and the games will not be the fiasco.
But,this CWG instead of advertising our country and improving the sport sector has added stench to the Indian sports federation in terms of corruption.

LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST..

Why women are still the suppressed creature..?

I am going to contradicts my own views through this article. Just a few days back,i introduced the new age women- The Alpha women.

And this male-dominating society didn't agree with my views.
Now,its time to make you all aware with the real story. Alpha-women captures only a segment of women population.The real story about typical women lies in here:-

-Wearing veil or burkha is compulsory.
-Entering some shrines of Kerala are still not permissible for women.
-And a large number of protest raised by the Roman catholic against the movie-"The Vinci code".

What these examples reflects about our society.It shows that although we talk lot about women empowerment,there are still some points where women are being suppressed.Whether it is in terms of being denied from the chance to be a priest or exclusion from certain ceremonies and rituals.These rules are always different for female species. But these exclusion are symbolic that how Women are being viewed by the society as a whole.
But sometimes its rightly said that we are own worst enemies. Discrimination on the basis of son and daughter still exists in some of the families.Women should be educated learn not to put themselves on the back-burner. Their no virtue lies in serving your entire family and eating last,the virtue lies in that you have to stand up for yourself n what do you think is right.

In order to conclude i just want to say- Women are the most beautiful creation of our god. Don't dis-respect your god by exploiting this beautiful creation..!
And i also want to say that i am not a feminist rather i am just trying to create awareness regarding one of the evil of our society..!

Its Better To Say "GOOD BYE"..!!

There is a famous phrase about match- making.

"Marriages are made in heaven
but arranged on earth.."

Totally agree. Actually marriage and to have a perfect partner is every person's desire. Once you achieve something,mature enough to take your own decision and powerful enough to feed your family.. then you are eligible enough to tie this knotty-knot & live " happily forever".

But this "happily forever" is a thing of past. Are today's marriages came with a guarantee card i dont'think so. Modern Indian marriages don't come with the guarantee of "HAPPILY- EVER-AFTER-ENDING". But hold on.. there's always the next time isn't there? But is this conservative society is ready to accept this second chance.
I believe to lock your self in a broken relationship doesn't make any sense. To its "all over" is no more taboo. Divorce is a healthy remedy for an unhealthy marriage. Now a days nobody depend on their spouse financially. People decide to bond together to live happily. But if this " happy " word is missing then what's the reason to bond together. Some of the victims of broken relationship have decided to compromise and destined to adjust just for their children's..I think that's a strong reason to give a second chance. But to live together just because you're scared to face this mean society and their two fingers pointing on you which ask million questions then that's a silly excuse.. Its your life at the end of the day and a person is his/her own best judge. So,its better to say good bye than to struggle each n every single day. And the point lies in that we are not going to get anything in return from this struggle.

So,the moral is- Life is all about loving Ur loved one n being loved by them. But if u r not getting this love then stop crying.. wipe of f Ur tears.. fight back and stand up for a new start..

"BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME"

What do you want to be remembered as..?

God has created this world. And human beings are one of the finest creature of our lord. Each one of us came here on a mission.From the very first day we enter in this world,we burdened with loads of expectations and dreams. And we spent our whole life in chasing those dreams.
But by the end of every man's life there comes a million dollar question-" what do you want to be remembered as..?"


When you sit on a armchair after your retirement,when you accomplish your 3D mission- dreams,desire n duty. Then it might possible that a question will arise in your mind that for what quality does this world will remember you. What legacy would you like to leave behind?

Given a choice,would you like to be known for our riches? For power? For your knowledge? As a good professional? Or would you rather be remembered as a man or women of integrity? A kind helpful soul? A good person?

The difference being would you like to be known for materialistic achievements or for certain qualities that life has enriched you with? Would you like to be known for your personality or for the strength of character?

If i would have ask this question then i want to be remembered as a "perfectionist" in my field. After all,my work and the way i present it reflects every thing about my character and personality.So,i want to be remembered as a person who was good at her work. and if character n personality are giving positive vibes then it automatically makes the whole package of good human being.
Actually,character is the result of choices we make out certain universal traits. honesty,moral,loyalty,courage,responsibility,integrity,are some character traits.

On the contrary,personality is more subjective and varies,it includes our character traits our strength,our short comings,the total sum of who or what we truly are.Character cannot includes personality but personality includes character traits. So,its character that gives you the courage to be a good human being. and its good human being that most of us wish to be remembered for.
The only thing worth gaining at the end of it all is good character.





So,what are you waiting for-time to ask this million dollar question from your inner soul... !

HOW RELEVANT REGIONALISM IS..?

The pledge which we have learned & recite so many times in our childhood always reminds me the importance of our mother nation. These lines have entered in our heart & soul.
I quote:- " India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters."

But today- Do we stand with the true meaning of these oaths in its true spirit? Of course, its a million-dollar question,which every true Indian is forced to ponder,thanks to the game of dirty politics by handful politicians.

The vandalism & anti-national thinking of these politicians have left no stone unturned in dividing the " Indian manus" on petty & dirty regional basis. They have tried their best to change the image of India as a country of " unity in diversity" to a country of " fragmented believes" & a country which is devoid of respect,personal & regional identity." Politicians like raj thackery are playing politics at the cost of national integrity. In, Maharashtra, north-Indians are targeted and being chased out from Mumbai on the plea that they are depriving the local people the means of livelihood. Do any progressive India would agree with these views? Certainly not. In fact brilliance,intellectuality of a person is globally recognized & the country ,which attracts maximum number of such peoples are being regarded as progressive country. In our country itself progressive states like Gujarat,Punjab have recognized these facts & are progressing like any thing.

I think its not a question of Bihari or Gujarati but its a ques... of competition.Under our constitutional authority every citizen have right to settle & do their work in any part of the country & no one has right to oppose it. Mr. Raj thackerey is no exception. after all, he is not above the constitution.

" BARACK OBAMA" has proved that integrated man wins election too. Obama is part Hawaiian,part African-American,part Caucasian,part Indonesian and yet it has not stopped him from being the most definitive American. Is Raj thackery listening?

I am from Bihar,but being a bihari,i want to be known as Indian first. I believe that one is either 100% Indian or not. Nation comes first & then only the caste or region comes. One can imagine the status of our democracy,if entire citizen thinks on the line of Mr. thackery. I want the politicians like Mr.thackrey who views India as region of votes & their constituency," to amend their thinking, otherwise they we'll be nowhere".
At last but by no means least i want to state that:- "Winning hearts is important,not the elections".

MUMAI 26/11 - The spirit to move on..!

Life moves in a galloping pace. and i can say hat because,just a year n half back - we have seen a very disastrous and deadly terror attack on Mumbai- the 26/11. A year on and we are still siting ducks. this aftermath on Mumbai's posh destination has raised many question regarding the safety of elite class , as the common man are least considered. this attack watershed the India's fight for terrorism. Now the question is- do things are really changed after this terror tsunami.


In terms of INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES:- Its a bigger spectrum. the reason why there is fewer attacks in UK & US is because their intelligence services are constantly monitoring terror moudles.
we know 26/11 was preventable. there was intercepts from R&AW about the Mumbai terror attacks, but National security advisor(NSA) and the goverment has simply neglected those warnings.

In terms of POLITICIANS:- They are the person who plays everytihng politically. just after the attack, the politicians were sent on enforced holiday. well, that holiday is over now. Vilasarao Deshmukh who was removed as Maharashtra chief-minister, now has a cabinet post in Delhi. Former Home-minister R.R Patil is back in the giverment. Shivraj Patil is about to be appointed as governor.

So,the one visible evidence of change after 26/11- no matter how symbolic or meaningless, has now been wiped out. It's back to buisness as usual.

ALPHA WOMEN

It is very difficult to write about a women in a few pages. She is the most finest creature of our god and its almost impossible to capture each and every segment of women ,because she plays many roles in one life. But i have dared and tried to highlight and introduce our new age, self-made women:- ALPHA WOMEN.

Being a women is like being on the stage for most part of the day- enacting roles,providing your worth,being watched and generally being put to test so to speak. Women are multi-taskers- mother,wife, daughter-in-law, daughter are some of the finest roles that women are playing from centuries. But hold on, its not over,their is one more role that our dynamic ladies perform nicely is to go out work and to make there own identities.

So, welcome to the world of ALPHA WOMEN. Alpha women is defined as a women who puts family and household secondary and her career primary. This is something new for our society,a Male-dominated which is no more dominated.We are noy only matching but we are one step ahead than our male counterparts. It was hard,to be a perfect wife,mother and then to live for yourself.But women are perfect manager, we done it and prove the world that we are no more furniture of your home. But it was not easy. In work scenario which being dominated by male, a women has to prove she's no less capable and then get on with the day's work. If she has to achieve a measure of success, a women has to necessarily be tougher and more focused than guy. For very soon a working girl realises it's better to have a "tough" image rather than a compliant one.

No-man can acknowledge the multi-tasking dexterity of a women. She is usually the one who handles home as well as office.The alpha women are no more shy,soft, and Devi's.Perfect word to describe them is feminist. They are bold,arrogant,confident and fearless. They are not only kitchen queen but boardroom heroine's as well. Today's women have reached a level of self-esteem and feel empowered to express their femine energies.

So, beware you egoistic male,these alpha women have almost irradiated this male dominating society. Now its time to see a female dominating society. We'll no more prove our self. women can and do draw a line in the sand and ask others to follow.

COPING WITH YOUR GRANDPARENTS..!

Today we are so busy in our own world that we hardly get some time to spend with our grandparents,or sometime we don't want to do so specially in the presence of our social circle.This is due to the fact that sometimes our granny ask such types of questions from our friends which is difficult for them to answer. Inquiry about their personal life,family affairs are some of the most genuine question thy ask. But this is due to the change in state of mind of these aged person which comes naturally. They are just uninhibited,which is a natural state of being with senior citizens,as their advanced age leads to some age-related changes in the brain function.

and all these problems and changes arises due to the tendency of keeping the

sliver-haired person away from one's social circle. Actually these aged-person are quite stunned but slowly realising that the world around them is changing and many things that they considered taboo earlier are now acceptable.

but it is our duty to cope with them and treat them in the best manner,in their last era.

* spend some more time with them.

*don't let them starve for company.

*keep a straight eye don't react too much to their embracing statements.

* don't betray them in public.

* and never take their comments personally.

The sliver-haired populance is so tired of proper -behaviour all through their life,that in their golden years,they refuse to hold their tongue. And according to me, it's our duty to give them all pleasures of life,of what we are capable of in their last segment of life.
